Meet Elevé’s Owner, Ginger, who is dedicated to nurturing dancers and building a thriving dance community.

Ginger knew she could create something special—a space where children could discover the joy of dance in a supportive, nurturing environment. That’s how Elevé was born.

Ginger’s expertise lies in building a studio where dancers can flourish, thanks to her commitment to quality and unwavering dedication to each child’s growth and happiness. While Ginger leaves the teaching to our highly skilled instructors, she ensures that Elevé offers exceptional dance education in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

With Ginger’s vision, passion, and leadership, you can feel confident that Elevé is a place where young dancers will not only learn and grow but also feel truly at home.

  • MaKayla Petersen

    TUMBLING, ACRO, TECHNIQUE, HIP HOP, NON-COMPETITIVE & COMPETITIVE TEAMS

    MaKayla has been dancing since she was two. Her dance journey includes fifteen years of training and performing,. In High School, MaKayla was a member of the Drill Team where she served as Captain for two years.

    After high school, MaKayla moved to North Carolina, where she danced professionally for the Carolina Cobras and was Captain her first year. Upon returning to Utah, MaKayla continued dancing at Pulse 55 and found a passion for teaching and choreographing for teams and individuals. MaKayla’s teaching experience also includes two years of gymnastics instruction in North Carolina. MaKayla specializes in hip hop, jazz, and tumbling, and also has experience in contemporary and lyrical dance styles. MaKayla loves to inspire dancers of all ages, providing purpose, direction, and motivation to help them increase and diversify their skills. MaKayla loves outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, swimming, and working out and has a silver Labrador Retriever named Arlo, who is her best adventure buddy. MaKayla says she couldn't be where she is today without the incredible support of her friends, family, and her boyfriend.

    BALLROOM INSTRUCTOR

    Aubrey began Ballroom dancing through community school programs 14 years ago. She loves the connection and relationships created by dancing. She studied ballroom at Utah Valley University where she met her sweetheart social dancing. After a break from school and the birth of her daughter she became the Assistant Director of the Alta High Ballroom Team where she discovered a passion for teaching. Aubrey loves sharing ballroom with those around her and creating productions to showcase her students. When she isn’t dancing you can find her playing games with family, drawing and sewing.

  • Bailey Cook

    NON-COMPETITIVE AND COMPETITIVE TEAMS, TECHNIQUE

    Bailey is a passionate and experienced dance educator with a deep love for various dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary. She started her teaching journey as an Assistant Dance Teacher in 2016 and quickly grew into a Dance Teacher role by 2021. Throughout those years, Bailey enjoyed creating engaging lessons that introduced her students to the beauty of dance, helping them master techniques while contributing her creativity to choreography in multiple styles.

    As an Assistant Dance Competition Team Coach from 2018 to 2020, Bailey played a key role in fine-tuning competition routines and helping dancers push their skills to the next level. Her enthusiasm for dance led her to take on the role of Hip Hop Dance Competition Team Coach and Teacher in 2024, where she brought her unique vision to life through choreography and performance preparation.

    Bailey's dance journey spans 12 years of dedicated training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Ballroom. She spent eight of those years competing on various teams, both at her studio and with her high school’s Dance Company and Ballroom Team. One of her proudest moments was performing with “The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square” during their Christmas concert in 2018.

    Bailey’s creativity and dedication as a choreographer have earned her numerous prestigious awards throughout her dance career. She’s had the opportunity to create original pieces for dance classes and competition teams, with her self-choreographed solos winning awards during the 2019 Dance Competition Season, including the NYCDA Competition's Outstanding Interpretation Award. Her talent was further recognized with a BYU Contemporary Dance Intensive Scholarship and as the Nuvo Senior Breakout Artist Runner-up in 2019. In 2020, Bailey was honored as the Regional Sterling Scholar Scholarship recipient for her outstanding choreography work, which included award-winning pieces for high school ballroom and dance company teams. That same year, she received the "Best Choreography Award" at the UDEO State Dance Company Competition and the "Best Student Choreography Award" at the TCSD Dance Festival.

    Bailey is currently pursuing a Dance Major at Utah Valley University, Orem, UT.
